We are seeking a Communications Manager for the Rudolph Libbe Group in Walbridge, OH. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES o Lead the content creation, sourcing, design, production, and distribution of internal communications including introduction of new technology/employee engagement tools:
Common Ground, Safety Matters, Home Safety Matters, Office Digital Signage, New intranet including employee app o Source, research and generate written content for internal communications o Ensure communications align with company objectives and fit for the target audience o Lead public relations efforts (press releases, media inquiries, and crisis communications). Media training for internal staff as needed. o Contribute to strategic communications plan and campaigns that will help further organizational goals; Define key performance indicators for each communications channel which will indicate level of success o Lead planning and execution of customer-facing events:
Groundbreakings, ribbon-cuttings and media events o Source, research, and generate content for social media and RLGbuilds.com Newsroom o Coordinate customer testimonial interviews, videography, and photography o Write essay and narrative responses for award submissions o Special writing assignments as needed o Act as back-up writer and proof-reader - as needed - for business development proposals, case studies, and presentations SKILLS o Great writing and storytelling skills o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across organizations o Proficiency in the following technologies:
Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) o Knowledge of WordPress helpful o Strong, versatile copywriting, and proofreading skills o Solid organizational, planning, and coordination skills o Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as needed o Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and work independently o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously o Possess a sense of urgency; be self-motivated and detail-minded o Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE o 5-7 years of relevant experience o Undergraduate degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or other relevant program
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
