Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a few good Construction Project Managers who are outgoing, experienced, and build teams as well as enhance customer relationships.
The Project Manager will effectively manage safety, cost, material, schedule, subcontractors, changes and quality on assigned projects.
Responsibilities include building and strengthening relationships with new and existing customers, managing multiple construction projects to deliver results, and identifying new opportunities to provide value added services for clients as well.
Experience with different contract delivery methods is preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESOur client offers a complete range of project delivery methods including general contracting, design/build and construction management.
They are based in Toledo, Ohio and are the region's largest direct employer of skilled construction craftspeople with offices in Cleveland, Columbus and Lima, Ohio, Ithaca, New York and Plymouth, Michigan.
o Project planning, scheduling, and implementation of activitieso Project Safety Managemento Project Quality Managemento Contracts administrationo Cost controlo Subcontractor managemento Customer Relationship Management - developing and maintaining relationships with key customerso Participation in strategic and operational initiatives in order to enhance, grow, and improve the companySKILLSo Ability to work with a wide range of personnel, both internal and externalo Exceptional listening and communication skills (written and verbal)o Understands owning the whole before owning your pieceo Strong team player who can also work independentlyo Strong and relevant computer skillso Demonstrated customer relationship and project management skillso Knowledge of safety best practices and procedureso Ability to prioritize, pivot with unexpected changes, handle multiple tasks and respond quickly to requests of customers and superintendentso Ability to identify client needs and manage the work from conceptual stage through completionEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEo A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Managemento 5 or more years' experience working in the construction industryo History of managing multiple projects and customers simultaneouslyAbout the Company:
